Primary Teacher

   Mrs. Kimberly has been teaching for over 30 years.  She started teaching at a traditional preschool, while attending college to study child development.  She became certified to teach preschool and earned her administrative credentials in accordance with California State standards in 1995. 

   In 2003, Mrs. Kimberly, her husband, and their son moved to Texas. She attended Lone Star College to finish her degree in child development while working as a preschool teacher.  She was introduced to an authentic Montessori program where she discovered what had been missing from traditional teaching.  Mrs. Kimberly went on to study the Montessori method for the next few years and graduated with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Child Care and Development with a specialization in the Montessori method.  She is certified by, and a member of the American Montessori Society.  She also holds a CDA (Child Development Associate) by the National Professional Council of Recognition.

   Mrs. Kimberly has dreamed of combining her love for the Lord and her passion for Montessori teaching into a school where Jesus is glorified, children are loved, and learning is fun and exciting.
